How it started
The dog who needed a backpack.
It started with a long weekend hike. Our founder Jamie wanted to take his dog Milo — but Milo had no way to carry his own water, snacks, or kit. Every dog pack on the market was either too stiff, too heavy, or fell apart after two walks.
Jamie spent weeks testing every dog saddle bag he could find. The buckles chafed. The weight distribution was wrong. The fabrics weren't waterproof. None of them were designed by people who actually hiked with their dogs.
"Milo deserved gear that worked as hard as he did. So I built it myself."
Eighteen months later, the Tailooo Trail Pack was born — lightweight, balanced, waterproof, and built to move with your dog, not against them. Milo wore the first prototype on a 14-mile trail in the Lake District. He hasn't looked back since.
